Herbie Kuhn, voice of the Toronto Raptors, is master of ceremonies and guest speaker at a fundraising dinner and auction for the Stouffville Igoma Partnership.
The partnership provides opportunities for residents, service clubs, churches, schools and businesses to partner with Igoma, an impoverished town in the east African nation of Tanzania.
The event is April 21 at 6 p.m. at EastRidge Evangelical Missionary Church on Tenth Line in Stouffville.
Tickets are $40 each from the Whitchurch-Stouffville Chamber of Commerce, 905-642-4227, and EastRidge church, 905-640-3911.
