Our 8th annual Dinner and Auction was a huge success again this year. With over 150 guests, excellent food and very suitable entertainment, we were able to raise approximately $40,000 this year which will be integral in fulfilling our vision to see Igoma residents gain access to clean potable water. The water project will begin in early 2013 and will be ongoing in the years to come in hopes that clean water will accessible to eventually the entire village of Igoma.
For this we are so grateful to our guests for coming, our amazing EmCee Jim Mason, our guest speaker and olympian medal winner Karen Cockburn, our faithful decorator Edith Lewis, our many other volunteers including Shaw Percussion and the Georgina Drum Circle, our dancers Daniella and Marianna, our hard working auction runners/servers, the local businesses and residents who kindly donated a wide variety of unique items for our auction, Sgt. Peppers for another meal much enjoyed, our honoured partners and of course our Corporate Sponsors who are as follows;
Gold Partners: Simpson Produce & Century Mill Lumber
Silver Partners: AVECO Pools, The Mayor's Golf Tournament, Farmer Jacks & Bristol Homes
Bronze Partners: Safebridge, Fieldstone Windows & Stouffville Toyota
A big thanks to all who helped make this night a success and a benefit for our brothers and sisters in Igoma, Tanzania!
