We’re thrilled to introduce our new logo and website. Credit for the beautiful designs goes to The Works Design Communications who so kindly donated their time and talent. We were also privileged to have Angela Dukat, Dukat Studios, share with us the incredible photos she took while visiting Igoma in December 2018 as part of a travel group. Thanks as well to Lorraine Gilbert, Gilbert Communications, for copywriting, and to the project team of Lorraine, Nizar Hirani and Mark Leonituk.
Thanks to our SIP Tanzania board and staff, construction of a minor surgical theatre building was completed in July. SIP was able to send a wire transfer of $30,000 to support the first purchase of equipment in July and we’re planning to send a second installment to fully outfit the theatre in September. The expectation is that by late fall, the surgery theatre will be operational and providing life-changing support to people in need.
